Hey, everybody. Welcome to You Were Born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo and Mary

Guilfoyle. We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about

how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope. The God who created and rescued this world

in order that you and I can be agents of transformation and recreation. And Mary, my hope

right now is that God's enabling the podcast technology to work because we just got a whole

bunch of new equipment in here. I have no idea what we're supposed to be doing. And we just

hit every button in sight. Father John, I've never seen so many buttons, screens, towers,

TVs, cameras in my life. And so I do what I'd always do when technology is not working.

I cry out, Albert.

And our dear brother, who's such a gifted member of our team, comes running in and comes

to the rescue.

And just before we started to hit record, you called the intercession of St.

Carlos Acuteus to help us with the

technology. And you never call upon his intercession. Not that we shouldn't. It'd be great. I love

having him as a new saint. And I'm thinking, why are you calling upon him? And it didn't work the first

couple of times. And then it made me think back to years ago, we were doing an auction dinner

at one of the parishes. I was serving at the time. And just before

everybody gathered, we huddled everybody who was working there together. And I asked the

intercession of St. Florian, who I've never called upon in my life, who's the patron saint of

firefighters. And sure enough, we almost burned the house down.

We had a fire in the dining room. Oh Oh my goodness. So Holy Spirit, may this technology work and may

nobody's podcast explode. So on that note, what's our topic today? Our topic for today is,
