Summary
Greg Lapin is a seasoned law enforcement and government special operations professional with over two decades of experience. He began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2005 when he was a New Orleans Police Officer. Understanding the importance of self-defense skills, Greg continued to train on and off for several years between deployments, earning the nickname of a "10-year white belt." During his assignment in the United Arab Emirates, he began training seriously under Tiago Bravo, where he received his blue belt in 2016. Today, he is a black belt under Professor Jeremy Umphries.
Jiu-Jitsu has changed Greg's life, and his main goal is to expose as many people as possible to this martial art. With his extensive background in law enforcement and government special operations, Greg has a unique perspective on the importance of self-defense training, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has become an integral part of his training regimen.
