Summary

The Tallman House looked like the perfect Midwest dream — quiet street, fresh start, growing family. But everything shifted the day they brought home a secondhand bunk bed. Within nights, the bedroom filled with whispers, chanting, cold spots, and a ghost that knew their names. Then came a terrifying escalation: a woman standing in flames at the foot of the bed. Both children saw her. Neither had told the other she existed. Soon the bunk bed shook on its own, objects flew through the air, and a mist hovered in the corner each night, inching closer until it finally whispered to Allen: “You’re dead.” Watch the missing Unsolved Mysteries segment filmed inside the Tallman House here. Corinne and Sabrina hand select a couple of paranormal encounters from our inbox to read in each episode, from demons, to cryptids, to aliens, to creepy kids... the list goes on and on. Hello, good morning.

Hello. Good morning. Good morning. Very spooky.

0:27.7

Hello. Good morning. Good morning. Your hair looks nice. Thanks. So pretty. So does yours. So pretty.

Don't you dare compliment me. This is two girls, one ghost. Two girls. One ghost. And we have Sven here. If you're watching on video,

0:38.3

Sven is accompanied by a new little friend in the studio, a menace, an elf on the shelf. Some of the I, you know, I almost would rather be

0:43.5

around a haunted object than an elf on the shelf. I find them so incredibly creepy. Well, isn't the

0:49.5

whole thing we're kind of turning them into haunted objects because we're giving so much energy

0:53.9

to the fact that they're moving, they're doing things, they're being little trickster spirits. I don't like it one bit. I wouldn't be surprised if they haunted you. Oh, this is two girls one ghost. You did we say that? Yep. Wow. Wow. It was just a reminder in case you forgot. If you forgot where you were like like Corinne just did. This is two girls, one ghost. Just shitting you. Oh, I was like, weird. What if like this was the moment that you realized? I'd be like crazy short-term memory. I hit my head last night. You're dory? No. Sorry. I'm just. Mentally not all there. Just, just. You're just just just just. I'm just just just just. And I do have a haunted object story this week. Oh, yes. Yeah. For a minute, I thought you meant like you had your own. Oh, no, personally. No. But anyway, we're not talking about us today. We're talking about a family that was plagued by something horrifying.

1:45.8

It's a haunting story of a family tormented in their own home, a case with dozens of witnesses.

1:52.1

Dang. This is the story of the Tallman House in Horicon, Wisconsin, aka the haunted bunk bed case.

2:00.4

This sounds so familiar. I feel like this is definitely on like every

2:03.6

single list of haunted objects or something. So it is on a lot of lists, but it's also kind of a mystery

2:09.6

because, and we'll get to that, but the family doesn't really talk about it. And they've turned

2:14.4

down multiple offers, like big money offers for people to cover their case and do more in depth about it and they've turned down multiple offers, like big money offers for people to cover

2:18.9

their case and do more in depth about it. But the family... Which makes me feel like they were really

2:23.9

scared because if you're like, I don't want to bring any more attention or energy to it and like

2:27.9

no money could make me do that. Yeah. I think also they just didn't want it to be everything that they

2:33.3

were about. They're like, we're just working, working class.

2:36.6

The opposite of us. Very opposite. We hear it. Two Girls, One Goes, love to be about ghosts.

2:42.2

Like, do you know anything else about us? It's interesting because I've been spending a lot more time in like my creative space.

2:48.7

And when I keep like wanting to write stories, I'm like, do I make a decision to write something that's paranormal? But then does that like lock me in to being a paranormal writer? Yeah. I feel like you can jump around. Riley Seger is a great example. Yeah. But I feel like sometimes there's real ghosts and then sometimes it's just a mystery. But I feel like I have to make that decision first, and then I can jump around.
