John's wife, as we've discussed before, is from Philly, big Eagles fan.

So John is by default, an Eagles fan at least today. Today I today. And really, from a Viking standpoint, I don't really care which of those two teams wins. I'd rather probably play the Eagles, but I'd also rather play it home. Right. I was debating this with PA on KFAN the other day. I would much rather play the Eagles, but I also feel like not only would I like to be, if I'm the Vikings, be at home, but I do think there's sort of an added value in just hosting another playoff game. If it's sort of a toss up, you take the home game. But this is not Vikings talk. This is Twins talk, and we actually have some stuff to talk about. Addison Reed, about a half hour, like right as I was getting out the shower and about to hop in a car on the way over here, Addison Reed, right-handed reliever, signed with the twins. And I thought, well, that's good because we didn't have so much to talk about. We were going to get into some other sort of non-timely stuff that we have kind of holstered at all times. I thought, well, that's good.

We can talk about that, and it's also good because I think it's a smart move, which we'll get into. But I also thought, wow, am I glad they did it a half hour before I left, as opposed to an hour from right now, because John will have had, you know, 1,800 gallons of beer and he'll craft beer in them, and Chrissy will just be screaming at the TV that the Eagles can't score with Nick Foles.
