Hey, everybody. Welcome to you. You were born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo, Mary Guilfoyle. We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. And this is the podcast where we talk about how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope.

The God who created and rescued this world in order that we can be agents of transformation and recreation.

Mary, how are you doing?

Father John, I'm doing wonderful.

And I just want to share with our friends who are listening that before we hit record this morning,

I had said to you what a joy it is to sit at this table and have conversations

with you every week.

And we love it that y'all listen.

And hopefully in some small way, this conversation blesses you because I'm always blessed

by what we get a chance to talk about.

So I just feel like we have friends around the

table and it's just something I never want to take for granted. So thank you for that. Amen. And what a gift it is for us to be able to break open scripture and to share with each other what it is that the Lord's saying to us. I get edified every time I hear what the Lord's saying to you. I pray it's the same. and to be able to share it with those who are listening.

So Scripture is, you know, Paul tells us, fight every time I hear what the Lord's saying to you. I pray it's the same. And to be able to share it

with those who are listening. So scripture is, you know, Paul tells us useful for teaching and

correction. And one of the ways to understand that is it takes things in our minds which are bent,

and it makes them straight again. And I don't about you, but man, I got a lot of bent things in my mind.

And I find scripture super helpful for helping me just to think rightly. And against all that's

going on in the culture and in our world and in the news, seeming like increasingly every day,

my goodness, is there a time to bury ourselves in the

scripture, this is it. Yeah, we need the clarity. Amen, and this is where we go to get it. Yeah, so given that, what's our topic for today? God's gym is the book of Psalms. Don't you love that? Oh, God's Jim. I can't wait to break that open. Talk about that. All right, let's pray. In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.

Father, we just ask, the Holy Spirit.

Father, we just ask for your Holy Spirit to be upon us right now.
