Connor, why don't you step in here because my cold voice is probably not the most pleasant

to lead off with. They just have a tiny cold. Bear with me, folks.

Wow. Coming hot out of the gate then. But yeah, this is 372 pages. We'll never get back.

Mike has a cold. I'm Connor Lestoka. I don't have a cold, but I've been reading Sean Penn all week.

So I feel just sort of a general malaise. I'm weighed down by cynicism and a disdain for society that I must partake in, man, even though I'm above it all.

So that's sort of what's been getting me down.

I'm really concerned about branding and just mindless sheep in society, man, plus all those

people who I don't even know where I'm going

with this. Well, on the other hand, are you enjoying the prodigious amounts of purple pros

pouring from Penn's pen as he profoundly probes the prevailing propensities of his procrustian

protagonist? Dear God. Oh my God. Wow. That was almost as annoying as some of his, I think.

That was, yeah, that must have taken a while. No, not really. I kind of just whipped it up last night to try to annoy everyone right off the bat.

So it's not difficult to just string a bunch of alliteration together into a

arty sounding nonsense.

Yeah, add a $5 word in there.

I don't know about you.

I've been resentfully diving towards the dictionary a few times.

A lot of the words, I'm half certain it's a Tysian thing where he's not

really using it properly and doesn't really know what it is that he grabbed for the

thesaurus. But we'll explore that more. Yeah. And there's some things where the words do make

sense, but maybe just not in the order that they're being used in. Like, this is just an interesting experience. So, I mean, let's just, let's dive right in. We are reading Bob Honey, who just do stuff by Sean Penn. And unlike all the other books we've read, which have been, you know, fairly straightforward. The last
