It's the Bayside costume ball. Money is once again tight at the Kapowski house, so Kelly gets a job at the max thanks to the new manager, Jeff.

The gang's band, Zach Attack, offers to play the dance. Jeff and Kelly get closer and Kelly

says she can't go to the dance because she has to work. Zach asked Jeff to give Kelly the night off, and he does, even though Zach lied at first.

Kelly reveals to the girl, she thinks Jeff is hot.

Then Kelly and Jeff kiss late after a shift.

Zach senses something's off.

Then at the dance, when he and Kelly are crowned king and queen,

Kelly accidentally calls Zach Jeff.

They go have a talk outside as Zach Attack plays their last song,
