Okay, I'm sitting in my office at home. It is a perfect California December day. I've got a big hot cup of coffee and I am really far I feel really far away from the madness of

touring which probably most of you know the food fighters touring cycle for Sonic

Highways has officially come to an end and we are all working our way

back into civilian life which feels pretty darn good. It was a bummer that we

had to end the last tour, the last leg, on such a sad note after the attacks in Paris. We had to cancel the last few

shows. But you know all in all it's been quite a couple of years and it's really nice to be home for the holidays

But it is weird to have all this time on my hands after being so busy for so long

No day sheet, no show, no sound check, none of that stuff. But I tell you what, I do have a brand new halfpipe in my yard,

courtesy of my new friends at OC Ramps that put that in there for me yesterday

so I'm gonna learn how to skate again. I haven't been on a half pipe since the

mid 80s and but me and my kids are gonna figure this thing out. I want you know I had my first

full-blown body slam this afternoon trying to figure out how to skate again. So I'll keep
