Annie F Downs and today is a special one. Y'all have noticed been coming for a couple

of weeks. We've been giving you the heads up that we are going to talk about what it is

like to write a book for starters as always our friend Ellie Hulcum is singing to us

in the background and I hope you've gotten her newest album Red Sea Road. So here's

what I want to tell you about writing a book for starters. I am just one author. There

are a ton of them that are way better than me have way more experience than me and could

give you way better wisdom than me. But this is just my experience I'm going to share

about today. Currently we have two projects in the works and so if you've watched on Instagram

or Twitter and I want to kind of distinguish the two of them for you we have one project

that comes out in October that I'm going to get to tell you about really soon that we

are in the editing process for that and then we have another brand new book that comes

out June of 2018 summer of 2018 and that is what I'm in the first couple of days of writing

and really like the first little season of writing. So we thought long and hard who is

the special guest that we need to have to kind of have a conversation with me kind of

do the interview part. Ask me the questions that you guys have submitted over the last

few weeks about writing a book and who better than my dear assistant Eliza. You guys know

and love her for my Instagram story. She is the most famous Insta celebrity I know. People

adore her and I adore she's a wonderful and such a great person to work with such a good

friend and I thought man she's the perfect one to kind of look through your questions. Pull
