Welcome to Race to Deliverr Podcast with Vladimir Subject and this is episode 36. I want to talk to you a little bit about

prayer. You know, God wants us to live a life of prayer. He wants us to pray without stopping. He wants us,

the Bible says, to pray lifting up holy hands.

Prayer is not just something that happens in the morning or in the evening, even though we have

to have specific time and specific place for prayer. I would like to share with you some of the

basics or motivators for my prayer life. My prayer life did not begin at first because I wanted to pray.

I would say pushed by certain problems that I had personally, inwardly, my insecurities that drew me

into a place of prayer. After a while, when I started to experience the

presence of God, my problems inward insecurity started to change, and then I started to honestly

kind of lose my passion for prayer because the problems that motivated and fueled that prayer life kind of got solved by that

prayer life. And so I remember, honestly, losing passion for prayer. And that's when the Lord

started to draw me in and started to honestly reveal to me from his word that I should be motivated,

not by the pain, but I should be motivated by the pleasure of his presence

and by the purpose that God has given me. I want to encourage you, first and foremost, that your

identity is anchored in your intimacy with God. You came from God.

The Bible says that God said to himself,

he says, let us make man in our image and in our likeness.

Because you came from God, who you are is in God.

You'll never know who you are if you don't know whose you are.

Your true identity comes from your intimacy with God.

When you opt out from walking in the intimacy with God, you will not live out of your identity.

Instead, you will either live out of inflated self-esteem or you will live from chronic insecurity. And both of those extremes
