Okay, this is episode 35 of Come Follow Me for us and I'm sitting on the steps of a little

church in Lodgerbrunen, Switzerland.

Recording this week's podcast for you because I wasn't going to, but then I started studying

it on the train today because I was on the train for six hours and I thought, this is such

a good lesson, I can't not do it.

This recording is kind of bed quality and cars drive by and every once in a while the

church bell rings, but I'm still doing it.

So there's no way to edit this at all so it'll just be paused and stopped and I have to

hold my phone close enough to my face in order to read stuff, but I'm blind.

So this could all just be one big joke.

But let's try it.

First off, I wanted to say that we started off this tour in Italy and we were down in

Rome and we went to the catacombs and they were showing us that these were the places

that many of the early Christian saints were buried outside of the city walls of Rome

because they couldn't bury them within the city because there was so much persecution

going on.

And sometimes the Pope or not the Pope, I don't know who was, the priest, the preachers,

everybody, anyone who see here's where I would go back and fix it, but I can't.

But they would go down and have church down there because it was safe to be down there.

Sometimes but then if they got caught and pulled out, they could get murdered just for having

church down in those catacombs in the tombs underneath the city.

And so sometimes we talk about having it hard or I'm persecuted for my beliefs, but
