who wrote a book called The Missing Link to Modern Day Capitalism, and he got pretty deep.

He talked about how Warren Buffett only invested monopolies, and he explained it in a way that

you probably never heard before.

Jonathan, I appreciate you making the time to come down here with us.

Well, thank you so much for having me on.

It's a pleasure and honor.

Yeah, so the question I have is, you know, a lot of people wake up in a morning and they say,

you know, I'd like to go have a nice cup of coffee. I'd like to have a good breakfast this morning,

maybe some bacon and you know, eggs over medium. I don't know how many people wake up in the morning saying let me write a book

about the myth of capitalism, monopolies and death of competition. So what inspired you to

want to write this book? So there were two real reasons for writing the book. The first

one was a professional reason. My day job

essentially has been, I started a investment research company, investment strategy and we look

at economic questions, you know, is the U.S. going to have a recession or not,

is inflation going to go up or not?
