We're headed back into the WHW Patreon archives to bring you two exciting watch alongs with Tony and Conrad!
The first September 2019 Bonus Podcast comes from longtime LKBH Kevin Nall of Alvin, Texas, or as we all call him: "Big Kev." Kevin wanted to go back to 1988 at Verne Gagne's Super Clash 3. According to Kevin: "...a lot of controversy in it, how the match ended and every thing with that. An all around good match, shows the psychology of Lawler as well..."
Was this the downfall of the AWA? Could have been, but one thing was for sure, this was one of the bloodiest matches on record. Jerry "The King" Lawler vs Kerry Von Erich in a title unification match between the AWA and WCCW. Reports said Von Erich was completely screwed during the match, but you need to decide for yourself. One thing is for sure, it once again proved that Lawler was the consummate pro and could have a match with anyone.
The second September 2019 Bonus Podcast comes to us from LKBH Sean Jones of Peoria, Arizona who comes up with a gem. According to Sean: "...to me this is my all time favorite match.
