What's up you guys? I'm Haley and this is Inhuman, a true crime podcast. 1. Welcome back everybody. I hope you are having a good day whatever day you are

listening to this. Today's episode is going to be one that's a little bit different because

it's not, I guess not technically true crime, it's also not like spooky, haunted, that kind of thing, but it is suspicious. It's it's different because it's not a

suspicious death in the sense of like we don't know how they died or what led to the

death but there are still questions about the criminal negligence that led to

this tragedy and it's still actually kind of an open court case.

It's still, there's still a question about if it's going to be reinvestigated. So it's a very interesting case it is one I had never heard of. I believe it was suggested by one of our listeners so thank you to whoever suggested it. But today we are going to be talking about the 1979 Sydney

Australia Ghost Train Fire that took place on the Ghost Train ride at Luna Park and Amusement Park in Milsons Point, New South Wales.

The fatal fire on one of the park's first rides was originally blamed on electrical faults, but arson is suspected and

while no one has ever been criminally charged, questions remain regarding

the park staff's negligence and possible connections to a crime lord.

And the public has demanded a second formal investigation into the tragedy.

It is a crazy story.

There are a lot of people involved so I will do my best to lay it all out for you guys so it's as clear as possible, but let's just get into this case.
