My guest on today's podcast is my friend John Gossett.

Thanks, Richard, for having me. I appreciate it.

John and I became acquainted about a year ago or so as I became

aware of John's work in the Twylla County area and beyond to prevent suicide. John is a married father

of four children, five grandchildren, really, really good guy who's felt impressed a step in this space and has started

an organization foundation called Life's Worth Living. And I want to have John on the podcast

to talk about his efforts to prevent suicide. So if you're suicidal, I hope the things that

John share will give you you more hope to live.

If you've had a family member die from suicide, I hope the things that John shares will help you heal and move forward.

And for those of you that want to get involved in this space, perhaps some of the things that John talks about are things that you

can do in your area of influence to be a positive voice of support. And I hope also that some

of the things that John shares will just give all of us more tools. This is a pretty complicated

space, but I've learned talking about it increases our ability

to help others. And John's been doing a really good job of that. So with that, John, once again,

I briefly introduced your family. Introduce your family to our listeners and where you live.

Yeah, so I actually grew up in Utah for the most part. My dad worked for the government. We moved around a little bit.

So we did spend a little time in California, Montana, New Mexico, but for the most part, I was raised

in Orham, Utah. And now that I'm married, we've moved around a little bit, but we are

lifers in Tewilla County. I've been married for 26 years. And I've got four kids, two girls, two boys, two are married
