Summary

The valedictorians of Drag Race take the stage in their magna cum laudest gowns to impart their wisdom to an undefined class of students of Drag U, a show we thought was canceled after three seasons. To the surprise of just about no one, Jinkx not only excels but could come back to Drag U and teach a class in how to do this challenge. Raja reaches for the stars, gets two and celebrates with a bemused shimmy during the lip sync, Shea plays a familiar tune on her grandmother’s accordion pleat, Yvie is a living example of losing is the new winning and we continue to be divided on our takes on the Tuck. Okay, here's something we all can relate to. One year, I was reluctantly taking a vacation

0:24.0

in Amsterdam. That's going on holiday for you, Viv. As I was returning to my hotel after

0:30.6

a particularly raucous night out, a car came whipping around the corner, driving backwards

0:36.2

at full speed. It hit my body like a charging rhino, knocked the joint right out of my

0:42.0

hand. I just flocked over the car like a rag doll, landed flat in the street, but I stood

0:46.8

up, dusted myself off, took a bow and said, that was a freebie. I felt completely fine,

0:54.8

so I didn't do anything about it. Now seven years later, my spine is out of alignment

1:00.3

in three different places, and I wake up every morning, feeling like I've been put through

1:04.5

cement mixer. You see, the body remembers trauma, even if the mind suppresses it. Some

1:12.9

say being born is an act of trauma. Think of it. You are ripped out of the ultimate

1:20.0

safe space and then thrust into a world full of people who would just as soon run you

1:26.4

down with their car and leave you for dead in the middle of the streets of Amsterdam.

1:37.4

Obviously, this entire speech is just so good, but I felt like this little section was

1:44.8

such a good example of why it was so good, because I felt like this really covered the

1:49.8

ways in which this speech shouldn't have worked, like to tell this crazy story about Amsterdam

1:56.1

to tie it into the topic of trauma and that buzz word, and then to be able to bring back

2:01.5

the car accident as a joke. With the best supporting joint in her hand, I mean, I just

2:07.8

felt like, and she's like barely looking at her cards, I just was like, wow, this is

2:12.8

so good. It was so brilliant. I can't believe she created this in the same amount of time

2:22.5

as everybody else. Yeah, and it felt, I mean, I think a big part of this challenge was

2:29.7

that thing that Rue talks about. Do I feel comfortable? Do I feel like you've got this

2:33.6

moment covered, or do I see you kind of glancing nervously at your cards? Are you Blair
