Can you pick up the energy? Now this is a theme because we say essentially the same little thing every week where I come over and I say to John, boy, you've been busy.

And John says, I went to this event and I went running and blah, blah, blah. It's the same story this week. And then I say, well, I'm just as tired and I haven't moved 10 feet. And that's exact same story. Yeah, you can either be kind of physically tired from doing things that make you tired,

or you can be physically tired from not doing things that make you tired, which is how I've lived

34 years on this, on this earth.

We, um, we're going to do, we've got a couple of things planned for this show.

Uh, one is we're going to finish up the AL over under review of shims with the a l central which is twins obviously and all that so we'll and then we'll give you our final ugly tally on how we did this year on our hypothetical bets uh we're gonna talk they are ugly yeah we're gonna talk a little bit more about get a little bit more specific on free agency although next week is probably when we'll really dive in yeah we're going to talk a little bit more about, get a little bit more specific on free agency, although next week is probably when we'll really dive in. Yeah, I think today we're going to Trevor a little bit of starting pitching. Yeah, we'll try to. I think there's a, I want to talk about starting pitching because it feels like there's a lot of focus. There's a lot of talk about, oh, the twins have to go out and get at least one really good starting pitcher, maybe two really good starting pitchers to put their rotation in order. I just, I mean... John's going to throw some cold water on you. I'm not... Yeah, I'm going to throw a little cold water on it in terms of looking at the free agent market. Yeah. There ain't a lot out there on the free agent market that you're going to be excited about. And I'm surprised, because there are some big names, I don't feel like people are talking about how thin the free agent market really is in terms of starting pitching. And also, it's important to note to Minnesotans and Twins fans, you're still Minnesotans and Twins fans. They don't, like, switch up the cities and the payroll. Okay, so let me ask you this, then, because I meant to actually post this on Twins Day yesterday as a topic. John sat up from the couch. That's right. I did. Okay. This is really. Because you pay more attention to, you know, little Twins news that comes out or quotes that come out than I do. Yeah. Have the twins given any indication for payroll? That payroll is going to be increased. Well. No. Or that they're going to make a big splash or that they're going to be. Has there been any hit like that from the front office? No. I think it's more...

It just seems like there's so much optimism around that right now.

Yeah, but I think it's more like people are basing it on...

Well, A, MLB revenues in general are way up and team payrolls are rising constantly.
