He's also the editor of lazy fascist press. Very excited to have him here. we had good talk and uh you'll hear it in uh mere moments i do want to say a couple of things or like one main thing it's been bothering me this past week

uh as most of you know as pretty much everybody knows uh the dominant news story over this past week. As most of you know, as pretty much everybody knows,

the dominant news story over the past week has been this awful shooting in France.

All of these cartoonists at the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo gunned down by crazy people in their place of work.

A massive march in Paris the other day, you know, over a million

people in the streets. It's been dominating the news. So I don't want to go over it again because I'm

sure all of you have probably been saturated. But I do want to say that watching and reading about

this, you know, watching it on the news and then reading about it in the news, the aftermath, one thing that stands out to me is the phrase war on terror, war on terrorism.

I can't believe that this gets actual airplay. I can't believe that CNN, you know, uses this phrase or any major news outlet, you know,

outside of the context of quoting a political actor, because we all know politicians love to use

the phrase war on terrorism. Journalists, writers have a responsibility to call them out on this.

And nobody really does.

And it drives me up the fucking wall.

So I don't usually go off on rants related to politics.
