I want to discuss this week something that is so deeply troubling and that's the treatment

of the January 6th political prisoners. I want you to take a listen to this.

That's the January 6th political prisoner singing our national anthem, trying to stay strong

through the treatment that they have endured at the hands of their own government.

For the past several months, Joe Biden's Justice Department has rounded up more than 600

Americans in connection to the January 6th Capitol protests.

Dozens are still languishing in Washington, DC, jail, still awaiting trial.

Many of those detained didn't even enter the Capitol, let alone commit any acts of violence

or vandalized property. But each week brings new arrests.

And on any given day, roughly half of the hearings in the DC district court are related

to the Capitol breach. Even worse, the constitutional and human rights of these January 6th

detainees are being violated routinely. Many have suffered under solitary confinement conditions

were allowed out of their cells for one hour per day and had been denied access to lawyers,

personal hygiene, and religious services. This isn't North Korea, this is Joe Biden's America.

The media has largely ignored many of these stories, instead choosing to demonize Trump supporters,

instead of highlighting what can only be described as the mistreatment of these political prisoners.

But one person has stayed on the story. One person has continued to examine these cases in depth
