of the demographic that we're talking about to say you know what I really don't want to code I don't

want to go into an industry that's going to pay me like max 12 dollars an hour I don't

want to work in a distribution facility I want to have agency regarding my labor outside of what the market is demanding of me

and this is not even you know guaranteed jobs these are jobs that might or might not

come to the region if local elected leaders who will be replaced in like four

years anyway maybe you know get their act together and sweet talk investors to come right so

I think it's perfectly okay to be skeptical about that reality and I think it's probably as I said on Twitter

It's like no more delusional to believe in that than to believe coal might come and you know might make a comeback if the president of the

United States says that that's what he's going to do and the coal industry has you know

two century history of getting its way in your region so right

you're not not rational people right are you familiar with the stickers that people

put on the back of their truck where this just like some of them are kind of

valued like a coal miner crawling in between a woman's legs or something like that or you know what I mean like a

coal miner's job is never done or something.
