1:10.1	And I want to do a fun, one-time teaching for the Go and Tell Gals podcast about how I started the Go and Tell Gals podcast. So today is the day after Easter. I'm actually recording this on Easter Monday, the day after Easter Sunday. and you guys will hear it in just a few days.
1:29.2	But I want to tell you about what happened a year ago. On Easter Sunday, a year ago, I woke up
1:35.6	and I was prepping to go to church and I decided to read the story of the resurrection. I turned to
1:42.6	John 20 and I was reading about how Mary Magdalene went to the tomb,
1:47.7	expecting to prepare Jesus his body. I read about how he called her name and about how she knew
1:55.4	who he was and realized that everything he said was true. And I read the words where he said to her, go instead to my
2:03.3	brothers and tell them, I'm ascending to my father and your father to my God and your God. And those
2:10.3	words, go and tell, struck me in a beautiful way. And I realized that no matter where women were at,
2:16.4	no matter what kind of Christian culture they
2:18.6	found themselves in, they could be encouraged by the truth that Jesus has commissioned each of them
2:25.7	to go and tell what they've seen, to go and tell what they've heard from him. In the very next
2:31.9	verse, it says that Mary Magdalen went to the disciples with the
2:34.9	news i've seen the lord and she told them that he had said these things to her and i thought man go and
2:41.2	tell that's what we need to tell women that's what we need to commission them to do that's what we need
2:45.8	to teach them to do and that's what i want to do with a podcast. So that very day,
