So today, we're going to discuss one of my queens, living legend, the original influencer, Martha Stewart.

Hell yeah.

I recently mentioned watching the Netflix documentary on Martha, and I said I wanted more, so now we're getting more.

My source for this episode is a book called Just Desserts.

I'm sorry, Just Dessert. Just desserts, yeah.

This is an unauthorized bio of Martha that interviewed over 400 people who knew and or worked with her.

This book is by Jerry Oppenheimer.

I did watch the Martha documentary again as well.

And I watched the Sybil Shepard TV movie based on a book called Martha Inc.

That deals more with her successful years.

We should recap that movie. It's so fucking insane. And she did a second one, Martha Behind

Bars, where Sybil plays her in prison, which I also think would be a funny recap. So I did recently see that Martha was planning on writing

her own autobiography. So we'll definitely dig into that when it comes out, if it ever comes out.

But for now, let's get into the juicy story. She will probably have a very different version of in her book. I love that

for her. She's the classic, she's the queen of like reinvention. She really recreated this whole

backstory and life for herself that really didn't match up with reality. But she has the right

to make up whatever fantasy bio she wants.

I mean, it's like my mother always said whenever Martha Stewart would pronounce it, Herb.
