For those of you who have listened to the greedy Bowman for a long time, you know

Today's podcast is one of those broad topics outside of hunting specifically. And it's

it'd be great to do a podcast that just covered all the fun stuff. But there's not much

point in having a voice if you don't use it. If you believe in something, I think you

need to stand up and talk about it. So the other day I was reading a lot in the media

about the Parkland school shooting, about gun ownership, gun violence. And I, and the

second amendment, and it got me thinking and I always kind of sometimes go down these

deep, deep thoughts on things. And I just been weighing all the input. And one thing I

want to say at the outset of this podcast is that I, I want to get at the truth of things.

I really do. It's a sincere intention. I want to know, I don't want just what helps me

tell my story. I want to know the facts. And I think there's some great folks out there

that do podcasts and do media and, and I really enjoy like Joe Rogan for that reason.

He seems to be open to new information. So as I talk about the things I'm going to cover

today, it's very clear. I hope it's clear that I don't know that I know all the answers.
