I'm your host.

And today we're talking about a time in the year called May summer.

Now, you might be like, what are you talking about Melanie?

And I didn't know what this was until I saw some influencers starting to talk about it on Instagram. And then I started shaking my head, yes, going that's exactly what it is, but I never really had a name for it. And it's this time period in May. It's the entire month of May that

actually resembles the holiday, which is why they call it May December, like December.

We just swapped out the beginning and put in May.

But you know, the holiday season in December when there are a million and one Christmas parties,

get together, shopping that needs done, family that's coming in from out of town.

Your routine is sort of blown up and there are lots of kids things that are happening with your kids,

whether it's at school or they're coming home from college. And it's just this time where parents

feel really overwhelmed. And I see it a lot in the business industry. It's also where people

take their foot off the gas, their business unravels, and they're left picking up the pieces

after a very busy season. And the second busiest season is May. It's this time of year
