crime podcast. So, Welcome back everybody. Today's case. I'm just going to go ahead and tell you it is a horrible, horrible case. It is sick, it is twisted and it is, it's just, it's

a rough one. It's one that that struck me I know they're all

rough and we say this all the time beating a dead horse but this one uh I don't know it just

got to me a little bit yeah it got to me a little bit and this was suggested by one of our listeners, Elena.

So thank you for sending this in.

I did know about this case a little bit, just very, very surface level, I did not know the horrifying details.

That's how I feel like I am like I know very little surface level about it, but I definitely don't know a lot of the details.

Yeah, and let's get into it.

Colleen Ann Slimmer was born on September 20th, 1975 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

She was raised by a loving and supportive mother, May Martinez, along with her stepfather.

Colleen grew up alongside her younger sister in a very caring home that fostered their development.

So her parents were very supportive. that fostered their development.

So her parents were very supportive,

very caring, very loving, and just encourage their children

to pursue their dreams.

That's fantastic. Yeah, we love to hear it.

Yeah, I mean, that's how all parents should be.

Absolutely.

But unfortunately, that's not always the case.

That is not always the case. So during her childhood, Colleen and her family moved to

Jacksonville, Florida, so quite a long haul. Yeah. And she thrived there. She was exceptionally bright. She was a really, you know, good student and she had a keen interest in computers and technology.
