of all the CBA issues and deadlines and free agency, and we don't often give a full-blown

timestamp, but it's key on this podcast. And I am joined as often by Scott Coleman.

Hello, sir. It's Wednesday. It has been a crazy last couple of days for Major League Baseball.

And for a sport that never has a big fireworks show in their offseason, it tends to be a slow burn, as we all know. I enjoyed it.

I think you enjoyed it. I think most fans enjoyed kind of the free agency chaos that has been

the last 72 hours. Granted, the Braves were maybe not as active as some would have hoped for,

but for the sport as a whole, even though the lockout seems likely, very likely at this point, it's been a good last couple of days and certainly a lot to talk about.

Yeah, we'll touch on the lockout stuff at the very end, but you alluded to it there. I would say every single reporter in America believes there'll be a lockout in the next few hours.

It may not be right at 12, but that's when the CBA expires at the end of tonight, which is two hours from now, Eastern time.

They don't have to lock them out right away, but that's probably going to happen in the near future.

So we'll come back to that later on and you referenced referenced it, but I was going to say a bunch of

names that signed for lots of money here at the top of the podcast, just to kind of set the stage
