Thanks for having me back. This week we are looking at the 1979 film from director Ivan Zulhuetta Arbato.

The film stars Esuebo Poncella as Jose, a director who's dissatisfied with his own work. He soon

meets Pedro, played by Will Moore,

a filmmaker of a different sort. Now, as a warning, we're going to be getting to spoilers galore,

including a lot of discussion at the end of this film, I'm sure, but Araboato is not the easiest film

in the world to find, unfortunately, but it is out there, and I really can't recommend it

Now, Elric, when was the first time you saw Arrabato and what did you think?

To say it's not the easiest film to find in the world.

I love that because one of the reasons I'm so excited about today is I have never had a conversation with another living human about this movie.

So I've been having to hold

in my kind of love of this film until this moment because I don't know a single person

who's seen it, let alone heard of it for the most part in the U.S. I, you know, I was at a video
