We're just a historic night for the UFC a historic night for mixed martial arts.

Obviously if you paid attention at all to that fight or if you're a mixed martial arts fan,

you know that we didn't get the ending we wanted in the main event,

but we'll get to that later on. I've got big cat on the episode to break down the card,

talk a little MMA with me, talk about what kind of fan he is.

He's somewhere in between casual and hardcore, but we'll get to that later.

Other than UFC this weekend, I pretty much just hung out, I watched all of Watchmen on HBO,

all three episodes, and holy fuck, that show is incredible.

I'm a big fan of the comic and I'm a big fan of Zack Snyder's movie,

but this show is something completely different. It's a sequel to the comic,

but also like a reimagining slash, not reboot, but it takes place in the same universe as the comic,

basically. It is a sequel to that, a direct sequel. It has oodles.

And I mean oodles of references back to the comic.

Damon Lindelof, who created Lost and the leftovers and all of that,

is working on this and he's a massive fan of Watchmen, the comic as well.

So he really loaded this thing up with references and Easter eggs for the hardcore fan.

And to give you, I don't know, a little tease of the show.

And this isn't, this is not like an ad or anything for the show. I just genuinely enjoyed it.

It takes place in modern day Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a race war is beginning to break out.
