What up, guys. Welcome to the Chichistu podcast episode number 329. Today we've got one of my favorite people in Jiu-Jitsu on the podcast. We have Brandon McAfrin.

Brandon is, you know, a friend of mine from years ago. And, you know, he created a organization called the PGF, professional grappling federation.

And again, he started it, as he'll talk about back in 2020,

and then it's grown into this thing now

where they're doing these super cool events out in Las Vegas.

And then Brandon himself has become super, super busy

with all these different commentary gigs.

He was one of the commentators at C.J.I.

He does some other ones for like the combat worlds and the UFC Fight Pass events and stuff.

So super cool to kind of catch up with them. We've had them on previous on the podcast way back in the day,

like 2000, wasn't 18 or 19 or something like that.

Yeah, he's been on a couple times, but it was a long time.

Yeah, he's, uh, it was so fun to always reconnect with him and talk to him.

So you guys, uh, we can be able to hear the chat we have with them.

You will talk about obviously the, some of the commentary from the PGI, we'll talk about the PGF. We'll also talk about some interesting thought philosophies on making

Jitsu exciting and bringing in some of the elements that he is bringing from other sports

into Jitsu because his whole thing is, you know, let's make it a sporting event that people

want to go to.

So let's basically, you know basically steal these ideas from other sports like football, basketball, whatever.

And let's pull those over to Jiu Jetsu to make it a more fun event.

And so I think that part was actually really interesting to talk about.
