Oh, I'll tell you, I haven't nerded out in my What's Good in a while, so I'm just going to say, my's good is that the special edition directors cut of the abyss is getting a one night only

Theatrical reissue on December 6th

Does the finale still look like a giant bathtub toy? Sure, but along the way there's so many other cool things that James Cameron enhanced and added and fixed that didn't get to be in the original

theatrical cut of the movie. In a lot of ways the abyss is still my favorite of

his films. Definitely a movie that you really want to see in a theater with like a kick-ass sound system like the sonar pings go from like the front right to the back left it's very cool

So if you've never seen the abyss if it's the one that you thought you could skip,

maybe check this out.

You've got, if you can see it on the big screen, you know, with like, you know, all the
