Hi friends, welcome to another episode of the That Sounds Fun podcast. This is your host,

Annie F Downs, and I am coming to you live from New York City. Hence the reason this podcast

quality sounds a little different than what you are used to. I am in the city right now

and recording on my phone, and you will also hear Lisa Jo and I recording through an

app that we love called Ringer. And so it will sound a little bit different this week.

It still sounds awesome. Just wanted to give you the heads up, but that's why it sounds

different because I am not in Nashville. I am up in New York. And I'm really excited.

This is a super, super fun week. We have a lot of celebrating to do besides just the fact

that I get to be in New York City. This is the one year anniversary, the happy birthday

to little looking for lovely, my most recent book, Yelp, and so generous and kind in the

last year to not only read the book, but to share it with your people. And that has just

meant the world to me. So thank you very, very much. It has been a really fun year. This

is also our one year anniversary of having our wonderful producer Chad Michael Snaveley making

this podcast sound awesome instead of the way it sounded when I was in charge. So it's

been a full year of us having high quality sounding podcast that match the quality of the

people we bring on the show. And so I'm so grateful to Chad and thankful for our podcast

anniversary today. A year ago actually on April 7th of 2016, the episode was entirely about

looking for lovely and about, I got to read from it and kind of talk about the book. So

if you want to go back and hear that on the one year birthday of looking for lovely, that

is in the archives.
