Episode 32 of Interrupted by Matt Jones, and we are here on kind of a rainy day right before

conference tournament week get started. Matt Jones and

Drew Franklin and Billy, we're going to do some news. Drew, we haven't had news in a while.

I don't know if you've noticed since we haven't had it. A lot of stuff has happened. I've just been

walking around aimlessly. Like, where is the news? What is going on? This is all going to surprise you. But Billy has gone through the news headlines. He has picked, he only found nine things that he thought were newsworked. In Billy's opinion, there are only nine news stories. It tells me we have room to bring up our own topic. Oh, do you have, well, but you don't know anything because there hasn't been any news.

I just mean like would you literally just ramble about anything in the 10th spot?

That's true. That's true. Maybe that maybe news will happen in the next hour. I'll tell you what. For the 10th spot, I'll just, whatever is the first thing I see on Twitter will be the 10th piece of news. Okay. Like if we were to, if I were to have done it right now, it would be that NBC sports has hired Jason Benetti as its play-by-play baseball announcer. I'd have a hard time with that one. That would be the tenth piece of news. But maybe. Still time for something else to develop. There's still time for something bigger to break. Do you even know who Jason Benetti is? No, respectfully to him. Congratulations. I just don't have a lot to offer

to that conversation. I'm sure it's an awesome move for him. But that's not the 10th piece of news. Okay, because that's... Thank God. All right. So let's get started, Billy. I'm going to guess that the biggest topic is Iran. Am I right? It is, but I do want to say Jason does a great job on the

White Sox broadcast, and I'm glad he's coming to NBC. I know who he is now. The name Reg didn't get me. I know exactly who it is. How do you know what he does on the White Sox broadcast? Are you watching a lot of White Sox? No, but he's pretty popular as announcers go, and I know that's kind of where he Did you say that in case on the off chance he would hear this, he wouldn't hold it against you? Uh, no, no, but I'd love to meet him someday. Seems like a really nice guy.
