Summary

In 2018, an entire youth soccer team was stranded in the belly of an immense cave system with their assistant coach after a storm hit weeks before the monsoon season. As their families descended into despair, a rescue mission the likes of which had never been seen before was forming to find the team. The story immediately made international news, bringing along thousands of volunteers and specialized cave divers to assist the Thai government in delivering the boys from certain death. What ensued was a spectacle that captured the world's attention and displayed the best parts of humanity.
