If you grow up not knowing that there are some children who don't have food to eat at night,

if you grow up thinking that the only children in poverty live outside of the United States,

if you grow up thinking that every child in foster care, it's their fault.

That's a disservice to your child for them not to know that there are hurting broken children in their zip code that are black, our white, our Hispanic, are Asian, their teenagers, their newborns, their toddlers.

I think every child needs to know that that is a thing.

We just recently met in person, which was so fun.

Yes, ma'am, for sure.

But before that, you really have been such a gift to me because of how you've been a gift to my kids, especially. And I appreciate the way that you share honestly about struggles and about relevant issues like dating. Like the idea I remember you posted not too long ago about girls, if you don't need to wear makeup because if you look young, it's okay because you are young,

that kind of stuff.
