Summary

On the night of May 10th, 2004, 22 year old Sonya Tukes was at her sister's home in Tennille, Georgia, when she received a phone call at approximately 1:15 am. Sonya told her sister, Barbara Tukes, that she was going to bed around 10 pm, due to an early work shift the next day, but the following morning when Barbara awoke around 5 am, Sonya was gone. For over 20 years, Sonya's case has gone unsolved, but now with a new task force at play, can Sonya finally get justice? Anyone with any information about Sonya’s disappearance is urged to contact the Georgia Bureau of Investigations at 478-374-6988 or you can contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 478-232-1366 or the Sandersville Police Department at 478-232-6138.
