So last night, I was getting ready to put my daughter to bed, and I was flicking around

on my phone, and I saw in my Twitter feed that Derek Jeter, the New York Yankee, was about

to have his last at bat, you know, at Yankee Stadium.

And, you know, I'm not even a huge baseball fan.

I don't give a shit about the Yankees or Derek Jeter.

But I do like sports from the perspective of a human drama

and from the perspective of reality television.
