We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29.

And this is the podcast where we talk about how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope.

God who created and rescued this world in order that we can be agents of transformation

and recreation. You know, I just thought about that introduction and we're in this jubilee of hope.

Oh, gosh. How glorious is that? Thanks be to God. Do you think the world might need a little hope right now?

Just a little bit. And you know, you and I were talking a couple

weeks back that we shouldn't just be pilgrims of hope that, but we should be heralds. Oh, I love that.

Yes, absolutely. Of hope, right? And so God's presented before us a unique year, a rare opportunity,

right, to speak hope to, to a lot of hopeless friends.

An increasingly anxious, fearful, and despairing culture, right?

And there are great reasons for hope in this podcast.

I pray is going to just leave people astounded in the sense of one of those reasons that we have for hope.

So what is the title of our

episode today? It's God's scandalous desire. I love that. Okay. Let's pray in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Father, we just ask for your Holy Spirit to be upon us right now

that we might understand what you wish to reveal to each of us very personally as we hear

and then reflect on your word to us.

Astound us again and again with personal and intimate love that you have for us by name.

Shatter all our anxiety. All our insecurities, all our fears.

Replace them with childlike trust and confidence in you who love us beyond all telling.

All this we ask in Jesus' name.
