We couldn’t choose just one holiday movie to queen out on this year, so we chose three–an old favorite of ours, this year’s Popular Mainstream Gay Holiday Movie and a camp classic that is destined to be a future tradition. We’re starting with 2000’s “A Diva’s Christmas Carol,” featuring more than one alum of the Drag Race judges panel, a particularly thicc Bob Crachett and a bonkers final act. Then we move on to “Single All the Way,” with a questionable central love story saved by Jennifer Coolidge at her Christopher Guest best as Aunt Sandy. We wrap things up with 1988’s “Christmas at Pee-wee’s Playhouse,” featuring the absurdly subversive Paul Reubens and guest stars ranging from Joan Rivers, Grace Jones, Charo, Oprah, Magic Johnson, CHER, and more.
