Hello and welcome to the Dynasty Dude podcast. I'm your host, Corey Evans. Thanks for listening to

this week's show. It's episode 311, titled Recent Success Stories from the Senior Bowl and

East West Shrine game. With both upcoming events taking place very soon for 2022, I wanted to

rewind, take a trip down memory lane, and reflect on

prospects that have fared well in both of these festivities. So I have a five-year sample size to

look at for the sake of this episode, dating back to 2017. The main reason I dove deep into research

for this content is because I think that both the Senior Bowl and

East West Shrine game are overlooked by the mass media, even by most, if not some of the

dynasty community. But at the end of the day, both of these are important factors or

checkpoints for upcoming prospects in our pre-draft and eventual post-draft process.

Therefore, I think that people

often overlook the importance of both college all-star games, but it's an opportunity to showcase

talents for incoming workies, no matter the hype or pedigree they come with, entering

the NFL draft process itself. These contests provide us as dynasty players with an early

scouting advantage to identify possible targets or steals

in our future rookie drafts. We already know ahead of the game who we might be targeting

from the selection of players in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth round of our personal

dynasty rookie drafts. Whether or not players themselves participate in the games, it's

entirely up to them. For the most part,

there's more upside than downside to accepting an invitation to the East West

Shrine Gamer Senior Bowl and showcasing their talent in front of NFL decision makers

can't hurt. Sure, there's a chance of players' draft stock could fall or even climb
