For episode 31 of the show were joined by emerging actress Zazie Beets, born in Berlin but raised primarily in New York City, you've probably seen

Zazzie on a few different television projects this fall.

In a sort of bout of serendipity, September saw the release of two dynamic programs.

The first is Easy by Joe Swanberg, a Chicago set series of short stories about late 20s, early 30s folks trying to navigate love, work, and everything in between.

In it, Zazie plays the lively down-to-earth woman who alongside her boyfriend played by Dave Franco is creating

an underground brewery.

The landscape of Swanburg's world is wildly different than that of Donald Glover's Atlanta, where Zazie has a vital reoccurring part.

In the transcendent new FX program, Beets plays Van, the breadwinning mother and kind of girlfriend to earn, played by Glover.

Van is the driving force of the whole family.

In fact, she's arguably the only force in the family.

Of all the characters on Atlanta, she appears to be the one who is trying

the hardest to get her shit together.
