I'm your host, Jeff Crudell. Hello everyone and welcome back to the podcast. Today's episode is episode 31. This is the beginning of the story of the grassy knoll and all the mystery that surrounds it. To be honest with you, doing an

episode or episodes on the grassy knoll is really a thrilling experience if you are into the

JFK assassination story. And for me, it's also a little bit intimidating. It's not that the topic

itself is so technical or complex, at least

what we know about it. It's really about doing justice to what the grassy knoll represents in the

context of this story and to the overall narrative that is the JFK assassination. Really, though, it's an iconic moniker for so many

other things in our world and what we as a nation, and really as a world, have gone through

in the past 60 years or so. And I know as a listener, you have certain expectations as well.

The grassy knoll has been more widely

publicized than almost any part of the assassination story. And for that reason, so many people are

interested in this topic. Almost everyone has certain things that stand out in their own mind,

and folks expect those things to be included in the conversation.

I hope I don't disappoint you in that regard, and I hope we hit all of the most important and

relevant points, and then some. As I prepared to put this series of episodes together,

it was very clear to me that there was no way we were going to pack it all into just one episode.

My delivery style just isn't conducive to that.

So hang on for a series of episodes that, if nothing else, will start to take us down into

the realm of the mysterious when it comes to the JFK assassination.

So, without further ado, let's listen to episode 31.
