This is season 4, episode 31, the second lesson in Isaiah.

Isaiah 13 through 14, 24 through 30, and 35.

A marvelous work and a wonder.

And there is a lot of great stuff between Isaiah 13 and 35.

But for this podcast, I'm actually going to stay in the chapters that the manual suggests

we stay in.

All right, at the very beginning of the lesson, there's a quote by Bonnie H. Corden, and

it says, Scriptures enlighten our minds, nourish our spirits, answer our questions.

Increase our trust in the Lord and help us center our lives on him.

And she's totally right.

That's what they do.

And that's why we need to be in them every day.

And for those of you who aren't on Instagram, I always joke that the Lord makes me learn

the lesson for the week, right?

And last week in the lesson, it talked about loving our fancy tingling, you know, jewelry

and clothing, and there was a scripture that said, instead of well-set hair, baldness.
