They said nobody would sign up.

They were wrong about that.

They said it would be unaffordable for the country.

They were wrong about that.

You get a law which said healthy people are going to pay in,

it made explicit the healthy people pay in and sick people get money.

It would not have passed.

Okay.

Just like the people, transparent, lack of transparency is a huge political advantage and basically,

you know, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever. But basically, that was really,

really critical to get into think to pass. No one has to keep their private insurance. They can

buy into this plan and they can buy into it with a thousand dollar deductible and never have to pay more than 8.5% of their income when they do it. And if they don't have any money, they'll get in free. So this idea is a bunch of malarkey.

The technical issues plaguing the Obamacare website rollout are only part of the problem. Many who've

managed to navigate the system, gotten quotes, plant to sign up, are now saying no thank

you. They're finding the Affordable Care Act is unaffordable, at least for them.
