Welcome to Muggle Cast Episode 306. Happy December everybody, Micah, Eric and I are here this week to talk fantastic beast and J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World with you.

How are you guys? It's always like coming home, you know, taking off our jacket and crumbling up into bed when we record.

That's what we did when we recorded in person in November last month. That's true. I do miss you guys. Now that we've done that, I don't think we can ever truly comfortably go back to, you know, separate sides of the continent type recording.

Let's only do Muggle Cast when we're together now.

Recording those in person was a lot of fun. It's too bad we can't do that. I was wired on coffee. We were just, there was a lot of coffee.

I just kept giving you coffee. That was all it was.

I was very tired from the night before.

Today we're going to have a main discussion. Do you guys remember those main discussions?

Whoa, it takes me back.

Where we focus on a particular subject because we have so much to talk about regarding fantastic piece and I think that's what we'll be doing in the weeks ahead.

We're going to be talking about the Obscures.

Arguably the biggest thing in the introduced to us by J.K. Rowling, the Obscures very interestingly. J.K. Rowling's had that word around for a while.

Yeah.

And we're going to talk about that.

Isn't that part of this thing?

What's great about this though is the fact that we do have the opportunity now to look back on probably close to what 20 years of content and other things that are out there that we probably just glazed over.

But yeah, it's clear that J.K. Rowling had ideas that we clearly didn't know about.

Oh yeah.

The clues are there.

She's not coming in.

Yeah, right under our noses.
