So it has been a minute since I have read The Dead Zone.

Like all of the novels by Stephen King, all of the short stories, everything, I haven't gone back and done any rereading since I've read them for the purposes of the podcast reviews.

So I haven't read The Dead Zone since I last discussed it back in October of 2014.

But I just got to say that the Dead Zone is a novel and a story that I can't stop thinking about.

And I think about it every single day

because the foresight that Stephen King had

is of the most scary things he has ever put to page.

a thing anymore but I say this because you know he's known to be the master of horror for all of the right reasons.

He is able to write a scary thing.

But the thing that is so so powerful about Stephen King is his ability to understand the human condition.

And it's why stories like the Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me and most recently, Life of Chuck resonate so much is because he gets people.
