or CITRAP at the University of Minnesota. In this podcast, Dr. Oster Home will draw on

It's November 6th, and while the American public awaits the final results of the 2020 presidential

election, the coronavirus pandemic is raging. Two days ago, the United States reported 102,000

COVID-19 infections. The first time the country has reported more than 100,000 cases in

a single day since the pandemic began. 18 states have reported record high hospitalizations

over the past week, and three have reported their highest daily death counts. And 95 respirators

and other personal protective equipment are again in short supply, and winter is still

more than a month away. On this episode of the Oster Home Update, we're going to discuss

the state of the pandemic in the United States and where it's headed. We'll also talk about

what the election results say about Americans' views on public health, getting update on COVID-19

vaccines, and answer some list of emails. But first, we'll begin with Dr. Oster Home's
