broadcasting live from the bottom of the stairs on Imstreet, discussing the iconic 1973 horror

classic that is The Exorcist. The film was directed by William Friedkin off of a script by William

Peter Blattie, who also wrote the novel that the film is based on. While the film was released

a great box office success

and garnered nominations and awards from the Academy,

it was also plagued by controversy

and some even believe it to be cursed.

Nonetheless, the film is more than maintained cultural relevance over the years

and is rightfully considered one of, if not the, scariest film of all time.

So, what were your first impressions on The Exorcist?

Honestly, I don't even remember the first time that I saw it, but I remember it scaring

the hell out of me when I did see it.

Yeah.

I would think maybe 10 or 11.

I think I was a little younger when I watched it, but I remember it being terrifying.

Well, I was terrified.

Our parents hyped it too.

It was like, that you're going to shit your pants.
