Welcome back everyone to another great episode of My Book of Mormon

At least I hope it's great

We are now on episode three.

And I'm David Michael, and we are continuing our journey through the Book of Mormon.

We're currently in the book of Nephi, which is the first real book, I'd say, after all the intros.

So I am.

So let's see.

What have we learned so far?

One of the things we've learned is that the book of Mormon does, it loves spoilers, right?

So the first couple of chapters, which were more, again, like introductions, all they really did was kind of tell us what was going to happen in the rest of the book.

And so, interesting.

Now we're kind of in the details of that.

Yeah. And then like, so this book of Nephi were reading the very beginning of it, like the first page, was a description of everything

that was going to happen in the book of Nephi. So it's like, well, that's annoying. And then at the

beginning of each chapter within the book of Nephi starts with this italicized text telling you

what's going to happen in the chapter. So it's like, you know, so we've chosen not to read those, right? We've said, yeah, we just want to find out

for ourselves. We don't want to, you know, read what's going to happen. I suppose we could just,

just read the italicized parts and get through this really quickly, but that would kind of, you know,

defeat the purpose of what we're doing here, which is to read the actual book of Mormon.
