Yes, hello and welcome to The Kickabout.

It is an alternative build-up to the weekend sporting fixtures and I am Toby

Tarrant and I'm sitting in for Johnny Vaughan and I'm very excited to say that with me is our

roving or roaming reporter. I'm never quite sure. Gavin the Woodman Woods who is definitely

not sat in his living room doing the show remotely, but is instead definitely

pitchside at the big game for us today. Gavin, how are you? I'm very well, Toby. Happy Saturday.

Thanks for having me out here remotely. I will explain the difference between roving and roaming.

A roving reporter is contracted to a major broadcaster with an outside broadcast van.

A roaming reporter is on his cell phone freelancing desperately for attention.

And I will let the viewers and listeners at home decide which category you fall into.

I also googled the difference because I was like, what is the difference in roving and roaming?

And roving is where you move with purpose from one place to another, and roaming is when you move

aimlessly from one place to another.

So I think you're a roving reporter, but a roaming human being.

I think that sums it up. That's fine. That's fine with me.

Well, wherever you are geographically or physically, it's great to have you here emotionally and

intelligently as well, Gavin. And I'm looking forward to a hell of a show. Okay, well, you didn't

tell me about the intelligent bit. Well, don't worry. We will all marvel at Gavin's intelligence over the next two hours.
