Out this week is a memoir from Guinevere Turner called When the World Didn't End. You know her as the

co-star and co-writer Go Fish. Her other screenplays include American Psycho and the

notorious Betty Page and of course blood rain.

But this is this amazing memoir about her childhood growing up in a religious cult.

And she apparently kept a lot of diaries so she's really writing it from

the P.O. V. not of you know adult Gwen looking back and analyzing it all but

really as how she saw things as a child, which is always

fascinating and it's especially fascinating when you are raised in such an unusual set of circumstances, and I'm about a third of the way through it and it's I had to

put it down to come do this episode but it's compelling reading and she's a fascinating character

and I'm so excited for her that this book is out in the world.

I know she's been she's been working on her for a while.

So yeah, when the world didn't end to pick it up for your summer reading.
